A Reason, A Season or A Lifetime

This was a wonderful 4th of July weekend spent with friends laughing and catching up and just enjoying each others company. I'm so thankful to have such great friends that know what's going on in my head without me ever even saying a word out loud.

Those type of friends are the ones who keep you sane even when you feel like you're loosing it!

Tonight at church I was talkin with a friend and was tryin to remember a quote I'd heard a long time ago, but I couldn't quite remember it.... so when I got home I looked it up and wanted to share it:

"People come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime. When you figure out which it is, you will know exactly what to do."

When I found it I also found the email that I was sent a long long time ago that flows along with it:
"When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed outwardly or inwardly. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally, or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend, and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrong doing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up or out, and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled; their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and it is now time to move on.

When people come into your life for a SEASON, it is because your turn has come to share, grow, or learn! They may bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it! It is real! But, only for a season.

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons; those things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person or people involved; and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships, and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant."

I pray this prayer for each and everyone one of y'all that are in my life,
May today there be peace within you.
May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be.
May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith.
May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you.
May you be content knowing that you are a child of God.
Let His presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, and to bask in the sun.
It is there for each and every one of you.
God bless each of y'all! Sweet dreams!
Love always n always
